carbon neutrality.

CODINAMEX CORP, concerned about the environment and Climate Change that is increasingly evident in the world, decides to create a strategic alliance with NANOMAC SAS BIC, based on which, in 2016, they decide to carry out a series of studies on the geological structures capable of containing hydrocarbons in the subsoil, to test the bionanotechnology developed by NANOMAC, thereby proving its effectiveness in contributing to carbon neutrality in the environment.

NANOMAC SAS BIC is a company focused on the development and implementation of technologies that allow us to reduce the carbon footprint in different industries, and in this way contribute to the creation of a better future.

What is carbon neutrality?

According to the European Parliament, carbon neutrality is achieved when the same amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) is emitted into the atmosphere from which it is removed by different means, leaving a zero balance, also called zero carbon footprint. carbon.

There are different ways to achieve this balance: the healthiest is not to emit more CO2 than forests and plants can naturally absorb, which function as carbon sinks through the process of photosynthesis – they assimilate atmospheric CO2 and transform it into oxygen, thereby helping to reduce emissions.

You can also reduce emissions and move towards carbon neutrality through the so-called “carbon offset”, which consists of balancing the emissions emitted in a certain sector by reducing CO2 elsewhere. This can be achieved through investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency and other non-polluting technologies, such as those developed at NANOMAC.
